Jonny is originally from South Africa and settled in Los Angeles in 1994. In his career and as the leader of four contemporary fashion businesses, he has proven to be an executive who creates value advising startups and operating large scale brands seeking dynamic growth. His business practice is built on kind and trusted relationships, and a high level of expertise in the finance, strategy, leadership, and operational areas. Jonny has grown multiple businesses, from seed to high growth stage, including L’EGENCE, A.L.C and most notably he led Splendid/Ella Moss through their lucrative sale to VF Corp. In his free time, Jonny spends time with his sons watching soccer and travelling with his beautiful artist wife, Elizabeth.

SAMANTHA SMITH | PARTNER | VP SALES
Samantha was raised in Boulder, CO and moved to NYC in ‘99. She began her career at Simon Showroom, then L’Atelier Group where she grew brands from launch to large scale within the young designer/contemporary space working closely with Jonny on Splendid/Ella Moss. Since ‘13 Sam has been the VP/Showroom Director at Franklin Showroom. In early ‘20 Lazer Group acquired the Showroom, partnering Sam & Jonny again. Sam has a keen eye for new talent and mentorship, coupled with the ability to scale and cultivate businesses. She has created deep rooted and long-standing relationships with both clients and designers. Sam enjoys time with her family, cooking, horseback riding and travelling.
